What to Write About
When writing your blog post for your business site, it’s a good idea to choose a topic that may be of interest to your customers. If you need help thinking of a topic, think back to some of the questions that your customers or prospective customers frequently ask. Your blog is an opportunity for you to share your expertise and become a trusted resource for people who are looking for your products and services. Top Priority – A Great User Experience
Yes, it’s true that you’ll want to optimize your blog post in order to try to reach the maximum amount of people, but your first priority is to create a great user experience and secondly to optimize in order to reach those looking for what you have to offer.
When you’re writing a blog post, you’ll want to target only one keyword or keyword phrase (two at the most) per blog post. You’ll also want to make sure your blog post has a minimum of 300 words with more being better, but only if you’re adding good, quality content. If the content is not quality or it doesn’t really relate to the keywords you’ve optimized your blog post for, you’ll quickly lose the interest of the visitor and your blog post will be of no value to you or them.
